This concept was developed with Scott Sternberg (Creative Director of Band of Outsiders) for Band of Outsiders Spring 2014 Collection to capture a musician's nature in a hotel room on tour. The resulting campaign was a live stream featuring musician Devendra Banhart in Room 29 at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
To keep in line with the typical Band of Outsiders humour. Devendra Banhart was filmed while he played music and followed directions left in envelopes to convey the different aspects and moods of life spent in hotel rooms. Modeled throughout the day, Devendra changed into each piece/look from the Spring collection.
Featured in major publications like LA Times, Vice Magazineand Vogue.
